About us
Our company history: Complete Development Corporation began its operations in 1994 as Colonial Property Management. In our early stages, we focused on the acquisition and rehabilitation of multi-family homes in the Norfolk County area. Some of these properties were retained in our portfolio to assist in our rental property/property management portion of our business, while others were sold to the general public.
Over the years Colonial Property Management grew by building single family homes and acquiring property management contracts. This was primarily a part time business with only one or two single family homes being built per year.
By 1999 it became apparent that our approach to building was unique and that our services were in demand. What we soon realized was that our building processes are different, they are based on tailoring homes to an individuals needs and providing a high quality, but affordable product. Soon, the word of mouth referrals had outstripped our production ability of one or two homes per year.
In 2000 we began the process of taking our business to the next level. The goal of this plan was to put the business on a course of controlled growth. We needed to grow the business in a way that preserved the uniqueness of our services and allowed enough revenue for support of a full time staff. A key milestone was reached in September of 2001 with the acquisition of our first subdivision. As planned John Desmond left his professional career of commercial construction in the bio-tech industry, and is now the Director of Construction and Development (the General Contractor) of our incorporated company as it is known today, Complete Development Corporation. Rena completed her 12 year career in office management as the Operations Manager of a computer technology services company, and became the President & Treasurer for the company directing all office operations, marketing, finance, and legal work for the corporation.
By the end of 2005, the business has grown to become a $4.5m+ company in annual gross sales, with full time staff including office manager, general contractor, field supervisor/foreman, general carpenter, and our own in house designer. Adding the staff enabled us to handle the increased volume, and maintain our level of customer service that is so critical to stay competitive. Today, Complete Development Corporation is recognized as a reputable general contracting firm that can offer you in house design services and project management right on thru to occupancy for almost any size project. Our main office is based out of Wrentham Ma, and we service all of Eastern Massachusetts.
In 2006, Complete decided to add "system built" products to our portfolio of services. We completed projects that were post and beam packages that created unique and beautiful results. In addition to post and beam work, Complete has become an authorized independent builder for several modular home companies which spurred the new division within our company One Stop Modular. Recognizing that there was a demand for alternative building methods in the market place, this division of services has proved to be in high demand and creates an alternative method of building for clients to choose from. There are many benefits to building modular and to building traditional "stick built". It is important to know that each client and project is unique, and we can help evaluate the best method for your project that will suit your individual needs.
As we take a look back at our beginning, we are proud of our accomplishments and excited to continue to grow the company. We have achieved name recognition within both commercial and residential sectors of construction and will continue to grow and improve our services in each of these arenas.
