Owner: John Desmond
John's background in commercial and residential construction began in the mid 1980's. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, John's corporate career included a combination of facilities management and construction management positions. In these positions, John focused on the construction management and financial controls of developing medical device facilities and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities throughout the United States and Ireland. In the past decade, John worked for two major players in the healthcare industry. First, John spent 8 years with Johnson and Johnson as their Plant Engineering Manager. And most recently, John furthered his commercial construction experience by transitioning to the bio-pharmaceutical industry as the Associate Director of Facilities Engineering for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in West Greenwich RI in the fall of 1999. In this capacity John was responsible for the site planning and the facilities construction activities for the development of this site. This recently completed manufacturing center includes 260 thousand square feet of manufacturing area for the production of a bulk drug substance, as well as several adjoining buildings on an 80 acre campus. In its time, it was considered the single largest privately funded construction site in all of Rhode Island, as well as the 3rd largest in all of New England.
During John's corporate career in commercial building, he managed to make the time to actively pursue and complete numerous custom built homes in the residential market including Franklin, Wrentham, Walpole, and Norfolk. With his combined experience in the commercial and residential market, John's focus is now primarily residential homes and condominium development.

Owner: Rena Desmond
Rena's background in real estate began in the early 1980's working as an office manager for a construction company in Walpole Ma. In this capacity Rena became proficient in the various aspects of custom home construction as well as residential and commercial property management. In 1986, she became a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Massachusetts, and went on to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. She spent the next 10 years working as an Operations Manager for Sears Roebuck and also at ENTEX Corporation (a computer integrations company). This experience greatly enhanced her business operations skills and management capabilities. During this period of time, she remained active in real estate sales and property management on a part time basis. In the fall of 2000 Rena became a licensed real estate broker and began working as her own licensed broker in the state of Massachusetts.
As a licensed broker, Rena manages the listings and sales of the properties which we develop and also help clients determine the value added to their homes when considering a remodel or addition. As the Director of Operations, Rena manages the marketing, accounting, legal and human resource areas for the organization.

Director of New Business Development & In House Designer: Mark Leger
Mark's background in design/development began in 1988 after graduating with a BS in Industrial Science with a focus in Design Engineering.
Mark launched a successful 18 year Engineering career with Saint Gobain Corporation formerly known as Norton Company, a well known competitor in the semiconductor industry. Mark brings eight years of drafting and design and ten years sales and marketing expertise to Complete Development Corp.
During his eight years as a Design/Applications Engineer he designed and drafted intricate and sophisticated ceramic components from idea conception phase to manufacturing ready prints.
Mark branched off in 1995 into sales and marketing as a Regional Sales Manager for various territories across the United States managing several key accounts. He functioned as liaison between manufacturing and customers managing the transition through several stages of development including quote, prototype, manufacturing, delivery, implementation and customer service.
Mark has unique passion for luxury home design and succeeded in designing several luxury homes in on a part time basis. As well, he has a proven track record in drafting designs for both commercial and residential additions/renovations since he has joined CDC. Mark provides an exceptional level of customer service from conception of the design phase and serves as a key liaison throughout the project.
