This 27 year old cape was ready for an expansion to accommodate this family's need for additional living area. On the left side of the home, a 20x22 family room will be added, along with a 12x12 library. On the right side of the home, a 32x22 two car garage will be constructed and will accommodate a new secondary driveway entrance off of Concetta Drive. The front of the garage will feature a farmer's porch. Above the garage will be a new 32x24 Master bedroom suite, with its own balcony overlooking the back yard. In addition to the construction of the new living areas of the home, this lot needed to install a sophisticated drainage system to alleviate the water issues that arise from it's low level proximity to the surrounding geography. CDC collaborated with engineers and a local excavation company to design a drainage and pumping system that will keep this back yard from flooding due to extreme storm conditions. The total additional living space of the home is approximately 2100 square feet.
